Six Women Honored With Outstanding Women in Performance & Risk Measurement Award

Somerset, NJ – June 7, 2018. The Spaulding Group, Inc. (TSG) announced today that The Journal of Performance Measurement®’s Advisory Board has named six women to be honored as Outstanding Women in Performance & Risk Measurement for 2018. This award recognizes outstanding women who have contributed to the growth of the investment performance profession and met with personal success.

“More than 20 women were nominated, and we’re very pleased with the ones chosen,” said David Spaulding, DPS, CIPM, the firm’s founder and CEO. “Each has made major contributions to the field and are very worthy of being honored.”

Those named are:

∙ Frances Barney, CFA; Head of Global Risk Solutions at BNY Mellon
∙ Sandra Hahn Colbert, CFA, CIPM; former Director of Performance, Risk Analytics, and Operations at O’Shaughnessy Asset Management
∙ Leah Modigliani; most recently Senior Vice President and Multi-asset Class Strategist at Neuberger Berman
∙ Leslie Rahl; CEO at Capital Market Risk Advisors
∙ Elske van de Burgt, CFA; Head of Investment Performance at Ortec Finance
∙ Karyn Vincent, CFA, CIPM; founder of Vincent Verification Services

Three of these women were presented their awards at the annual Performance Measurement, Attribution & Risk (PMAR) North America conference in Philadelphia, PA on May 15, 2018: Sandra Hahn Colbert (posthumously), Leah Modigliani, and Elske van de Burgt. The others will be presented their awards later this year.
